Vowels and Consonants

Mr. J's friends at school call him "Doughy" or "Chloe".  That got us to notice how some consonants are really hard for babies.  So what has Mr. J been saying so far?

Vowels:  "a", "eh", "oh", "aye", "oo" and "ee"
Consonants: "b", "d", "m", "p", "n"

Notable words: "mine", "no", "eh-mo" (Elmo), "bah-oon" (balloon), "nine-nine" (milk - go figure), "buh-boh" (bubble or belly button), "doe" (toe), "noe" (nose), eye, "ah-poo" (up), "da-oon" (down), "poon" (spoon).

The consonant "k" should be close, because Mr. J. makes snoring sounds with it "kuuuuuuhhhhhhhh".  Mr. J. has fun with lip consonants, saying words like "me me me me me" or "pee pee".  Tongue consonants, such as "el", remains elusive; Mr. J. will giggle if you wiggle your tongue at him.
