Dunkin Remote

What is with this fascination for gadgets?  At 15 months, Mr. J is attached to dada and mama's cell phones, laptop and desktop computers, keyboards, remote controls, etc.  Toy keyboards and toy remote controls meant for kds?  Not interested.  Unfortunately, with his taste for sophisticated toys,  Mr. J experiments with all hand-held objects the same way any toddler does: bang them together, stack them on top of one another, or put them inside containers.  End result?  On this, the first day of August, the remote control of our brand new Sony flat screen TV was dunked into mama's coffee, resulting in a loss of functionality for about half its buttons.  (Dada is now shopping for a replacement remote.)
