Mr. J. appears to be teething again. Is it time for the pre-molars to come already? He has the predictable rash on the face, low appetite, and trouble with sleep. Every time he teeths, he also gets sick - a cough and runny nose this time. Dada thinks it is because he puts stuff in his mouth more than usual. Makes sense.
On a related note, why doesn't Mr. J. like gummy bears? All kids like gummy bears - gummy vitamins are parents' best friends, I heard. But Mr. J. is more intrigued with taking them out of the bottle, and returning them one at a time by putting one on the lid and transferring by turning the lid on top of the bottle - after he sneezed on the lot!

Swimming lessons
Mr. J. is attending parent and tot's swimming classes on Sundays. Last week was his first lesson. Dada put on his swim trunk but did not get in the water. He went to the gym side to pick up some towels and never returned until the end of class! Mr. J. wrapped his legs on mommy and had a koala death grip. Did not seem to get into any splashing, kicking, arm-flopping, or ball-retrieving activities, but seemed to like floating on his back, supported of course. By the end of class, Mr. J. did not want to get out of the pool. Mommy sat him on the side a few times only to have him voluntarily jump into the water into mommy's arms again. Dada had to pick him up. All in all, not a bad first experience.
